Livingston Women's FC are set to play their first ever fixture on Sunday when they welcome Hamilton Academical to the Tony Macaroni Arena.
The Lions announced last month that they would field a women’s team in the new SWF season following a partnership with Blackburn United.
As part of the agreement between the sides Livingston Women will head up the Blackburn United pathway, with all the club’s other teams remaining under the Blackburn name and playing at New Murrayfield Park.
The club yesterday announced that they have added former Hearts duo Ashley Carse and Rachel Walkingshaw to the squad, while Vicky Wood has been appointed captain.
Entry on Sunday is free and kick-off is at 4pm.
