Livingston withdraw from SPFL Trust Trophy, providing a boost for Albion Rovers

Albion Rovers have been given a bye to the SPFL Trust Trophy second round after Livingston withdrew their 'B' team from the competition.

The sides were due to clash next month, but that has been scrapped.

Rovers instead head through to the second round, where they will host either St Mirren 'B' or Kelty Hearts.

Livingston and Ross County informed the SPFL that they were unable to field 'B' teams, a move which also sees Stirling Albion go through to the second round.
