Livingston made it 14 games without defeat thanks to a 2-0 win away to Aberdeen this evening.
The Lions have yet to suffer a loss under David Martindale's leadership as two early goals helped settle the tie at Pittodrie.
Dons keeper Joe Lewis fumbled a Julien Serrano strike into his own net on seven minutes to give the travelling Lions the lead before a wonderful Josh Mullin cross was headed home by stand-in skipper Nicky Devlin nine minutes later against.
A shell-shocked Aberdeen side failed to recover and, although Lewis Ferguson did hit the crossbar in the second half, never looked like turning the contest on its head.
Scott Pittman almost added a late third for Livi but saw his effort clatter back off the post as the visitors closed the gap on their hosts to just five points, with Hibs' win over St Mirren seeing the Dons slip into fourth spot.
The result - Livingston's first win at Pittodrie for 17 years - was all the more remarkable given Martindale was forced to make late changes following injuries to both Jon Guthrie and Craig Sibbald in the pre-match warm-up.
Guthrie was replaced at centre-back by out-of-favour left-back Aaron Taylor-Sinclair who turned in an incredible performance in his first league appearance since August.

Martindale had already shuffled his pack with Ciaron Brown, recalled by Cardiff City, Marvin Bartley, and Scott Robinson all dropping to the bench along with Sibbald with Jackson Longridge, Steve Lawson, Mullin and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas all recalled to the starting line-up.
But the Lions showed their tremendous strength in depth with a performance that merited the three points.
The two sides had produced strong defensive displays when sharing the spoils in a 0-0 draw at the Tony Macaroni Arena on Saturday but the Aberdeen defence was at sixes and sevens in the opening stages this evening.
Serrano's delivery into the box in the seventh minute should have been dealt with comfortably by Lewis but the experienced keeper somehow managed to fumble the ball into his own net at the near post.
Nine minutes later the keeper failed to collect a cross, with the ball finding its way to Mullin. His exquisite cross from the right found the unmarked Devlin who duly nodded home his second goal of the campaign.
Emmanuel-Thomas went close before another Lewis error gifted Taylor-Sinclair an opportunity that was blocked.
Aberdeen's woeful first-half was all the more challenging given Ryan Hedges and Ash Taylor were both substituted injured.
The home side's only spell of dominance came in the early stages of the second half. They thought they had reduced the deficit when Ferguson's effort hit the underside of the crossbar and bounced down but the officials waved play on before the same player saw another strike parried away by Max Stryjek moments later.
With the storm weathered, Livi saw the game out with ease to continue their remarkable run.
