Livingston to face St Mirren in League Cup semi-final

Livingston have been drawn against St Mirren in the Betfred Cup semi-final.

It's the Lions' first trip to the semi-finals since 2006 as they look to win the trophy for the second time in the club's history.

The ties will take place on January 23 or 24 with the final set for February 28.

Interim manager David Martindale said: "It's a winnable game, but it's a winnable game for St Mirren as well.

"All four teams will be thinking they can win the competition and I think that's a good thing for Scottish football."

Livi reached the last four thanks to a 2-0 victory this evening over Ross County while St Mirren dramatically knocked out Rangers with a last minute winner in Paisley.

St Johnstone take on Hibernian in the other semi-final.
