A Livingston supporter is alleged to have spat in the face of a Ross County member of staff during the Scottish Premiership play-off final first-leg.
Sky Sports cameras captured footage of an altercation beside the County bench after the visitors equalised in stoppage time following a penalty award.
Ronan Hale lashed home from 12 yards after John Beaton awarded the spot-kick following a VAR review.
Seconds later, Ross County staff members and players had to be separated from the stands after a supporter in the home end allegedly spat on a staffer.
Don Cowie said of the incident: "Emotions are high at that point. The home fans are obviously disappointed and frustrated.
"You can accept people coming over and saying a few things, but one of the Livingston fans overstepped the mark by spitting in one of the members of our staffs face.
"There is no place for that anywhere in life, and to see it so close up, that is why there was a lot of our staff really frustrated because you want to protect your own. It was a disappointing end."

On how the matter has been handled by Livingston and the authorities, the Ross County boss added: "They have been really good. They understand what happened.
"There is CCTV here, so I think they're pretty clear of the person that has done it and I am sure they will take the action that is required."
Ross County chief executive Steven Ferguson told BBC Sportsound: "One of the Livingston supporters spat in the face of one of our members of staff. We're not going to accept that, it's out of order.
"I was just coming down to get the staff away. I totally understand their frustration, to be spat at in he face is totally unacceptable.
"Emotions can be high, I get that. But at no time is spitting on someone's face acceptable."
Livingston manager Davie Martindale added: "Disgusting if true [alleged spitting incident].
"I'm sure the club will get to the bottom of that. Nothing more to add.
"Vile. Disgusting. Really, really disappointing."
