Livingston striker Dolly Menga in talks over potential loan move to Angola

Livingston striker Dolly Menga could be set for a season-long loan deal to Atletico Petroleos de Luanda in Angola.

The flamboyant attacker, who famously netted the Lions' winner at home to Rangers last term, is understood to be wanting to strengthen his case for a re-call to the Angolan national team.

The 26-year-old hasn't featured to his country since moving to Scotland from English League One side Blackpool last summer and he will miss tomorrow's Betfred Cup clash against Falkirk.

Courier Sport understands that should the deal go ahead, the Angolan outfit will pay a loan fee and cover the striker's wages for the duration of the deal. Menga, who netted twice in 26 appearances for Livi, could also extend his contract with the West Lothian side before making the move.
