Livingston sign former Queen's Park striker Salim Kouider-Aissa after successful trial

Livingston have announced the signing of striker Salim Kouider-Aissa.

The former Queen's Park ace had previously been on trial with the Premiership club but has impressed enough to earn himself a two-year deal, with a club option for a third.

The 24-year-old netted 17 times last term for the Spiders and makes the step up from League Two to the top flight and he becomes the fifth new arrival of the summer for Gary Holt's side.

He follows in the footsteps of Alan Forrest, Jack Fitzwater, Matej Poplatnik and Robby McCrorie in signing with the Lions ahead of the 2020/21 season, which gets underway on August 1.

Kouider-Aissa had previously enjoyed something of a nomadic career in the lower leagues prior to moving into the Juniors where he bagged 41 goals in just 38 games for Kilsyth Rangers.

Just 14 months later, following a successful campaign with Queen's Park, he's preparing for life in the top flight.
