Livingston's Hayley Lauder makes World Cup debut after being named in Scotland team for Japan clash

Livingston footballer Hayley Lauder will make her World Cup debut - and earn her 100th cap for Scotland - after being named in the team to take on Japan.

The Scots will be aiming to pick up their first ever point at a Women's World Cup finals having suffered a 2-1 loss to England five days ago as they made their tournament bow.

Hayley, who plays her club football for Glasgow City, is one of four changes to the line-up that will take on the 2011 champions and 2015 runners-up in Rennes.

She comes into the side along with Kirsty Smith, , Lizzie Arnot and Jane Ross with Sophie Howard, Nic Docherty, Christie Murray and Claire Emslie out.
