Livingston’s Jamie Hodgson helped guide Scotland to a memorable win over Australia at Murrayfield.
The Edinburgh Rugby forward came off the bench in the second half to play his part in the Scots' famous 15-13 triumph against the third ranked side in the world.
It was Hodgson’s second cap, having made his debut alongside fellow Livi lad Luke Crosbie is last week’s comfortable win over Tonga.
Crosbie, who started last week, didn't feature against the Aussies.
A Finn Russell penalty proved decisive in what had been a closely contested match in the capital.
Scotland led 7-3 at the break thanks to a Hamish Watson try before the Aussies got themselves in front as Rob Leota went over for their only try.
The lead would change three more times in the back-and-forth encounter with Ewan Ashman’s debut try for the Scots being replied to with an Aussie penalty to make it 13-12 to the visitors.
But as the game entered the final 10 minutes, Russell’s penalty would prove to be the winning score.
Hodgson and his Scotland team-mates face defending World Cup champions South Africa at Murrayfield on Saturday.
