Livingston release winger Gregg Wylde following unsuccessful spell at club

Gregg Wylde has been released by Livingston bringing an end to his unsuccessful spell at the club.

The former Rangers, St Mirren and Aberdeen winger arrived at the club in the January transfer window from Plymouth Argyle but failed to make an impact in West Lothian.

The 28-year-old penned an 18-month deal but has been released after being told he was surplus to requirements this term.

After starting in the club's Scottish Cup tie away at Hearts in January, Wylde made just two further substitute appearances from the bench later that month and had been training with the reserves in the last few weeks.

Meanwhile, the loan deal sending Dolly Menga from Livingston to Angolan top flight club Atletico Petroleos is expected to be finalised later today.
