Livingston Players bring new performance to West Lothian

The Livingston Players are bringing their latest production, ‘Everybody Out’ to Howden Park Centre this month.

It’s 1968 and the women workers at the Ford Dagenham plant are on strike.

Led by their leader Rita O’Grady they fight for equality and equal pay after deemed as being unskilled workers by the management.

Their actions encourage Barbara Castle (Minister for Transport) to support their cause and eventually gain the equal pay that they deserve.

The Livingston Players are bringing this fantastic musical based on true events and the 2010 film to Howden Park Centre from May 21 to 25.

The players said: “It’s fabulous music and feel good theme is not to be missed and certainly will get your feet tapping and make your heart swell with admiration for these determined and hard working women.”

Tickets are £14/£12 (concession Tuesday only) and can be purchased from the box office on 01506 340700.
