Livingston Ogilvie Way incident: Teenage boy rushed to hospital after serious assault

A 15-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital following a serious assault in Livingston.

Police and other emergency services rushed to Ogilvie Way after receiving reports of an incident around 5.20pm this evening.

Upon arrival they found that the teenager has been attacked, and he was immediately rushed to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh for treatment. Police say that their enquiries into the incident are ongoing. The boy's condition is not currently known.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were called to Ogilvie Way in Livingston at 5.20pm on Thursday, February 18 after a 15-year-old boy had been seriously assaulted.

"He was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh for treatment.

"Enquiries are ongoing.”
