Livingston midfielder Scott Pittman set for appearance milestone

Livingston midfielder Scott Pittman is one game away from making his 250th appearance for the Lions - and could reach that figure tonight when David Martindale's side host Kilmarnock at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

An ever present in the Premiership for the Lions this term, it would also mark his 200th league game for his local club.

The 28-year-old ranks second in the club's all-time appearances list, behind current team-mate Keaghan Jacobs (306) and ahead of current assistant manager Liam Fox (219).

It's the latest milestone in a remarkable career for the American-born ace, who signed for the club from then Junior outfit Bo'ness United in February 2015 and has since gone on to become an integral part of the club's history.

Pittman, who played alongside Martindale at Broxburn Athletic, has found the netted on 33 occasions for the club - his first coming in the 2015 Petrofac Cup final victory over Alloa Athletic.
