Livingston Football Club midfielder Joshua Mullin managed to ruin his brand new £650 Balenciaga trainers at his baby reveal.
Josh and his other half model Megan Gray shared their baby reveal in a sweet black and white video which looked back at their time together, positive pregnancy test and baby scans.
The video then shows curious Josh kicking a football in the garden which explodes into a cloud of colour to represent the baby's gender - revealing the contents inside as blue powder.
The couple are the seen hugging one another with joy as an emotional Josh puts his hands up to his face.
Josh and Megan told friends 'our hearts are so full' after realising they are having a boy, and can't wait to welcome Baby Mullin into the world.
But after the excitement of the gender reveal had died down, Megan admitted Josh's winning football kick had come at a price.
Megan showed off the shoe on his right foot and which had now turned blue as well as a speckled blue one on his left as a result of the powdery kick.
She told friends: "It was worth the brand new trainers getting wrecked. Please if anyone knows anyone who can save these, please message."
