Livingston keeper Robby McCrorie named in Scotland squad

Livingston goalkeeper Robby McCrorie has been named in the Scotland squad for their upcoming European Championship play-off tie with Israel and Nations League clashes with Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

All three games are at Hampden Park with Scotland hosting Israel on October 8 prior to welcoming Slovakia three days later and the Czech on October 14.

The 22-year-old is on loan from Rangers and is coming off his second clean sheet of the campaign as Livi defeated St Johnstone 2-0 at the weekend.

He is expected to be third choice behind Derby County's David Marshall and Rangers stopper Jon McLaughlin.

The uncapped McCrorie received his first senior call-up last month and has also been named in the under-21 squad for their home qualifiers against Czech Republic on October 9 and San Marino on October 14.

Also in the squad are former Livingston duo Lyndon Dykes and Declan Gallagher.

Dykes became the club's record sale last month when he moved to English Championship side Queens Park Rangers in a deal worth a guaranteed £1.7million to the Lions.
