Livingston goalkeeper Liam Kelly completes switch to Queen's Park Rangers

Liam Kelly has completed his switch from Livingston to English Championship side Queen's Park Rangers.

The 23-year-old had activated a transfer release clause, widely reported as being £50k, earlier this month and will team up with his former Rangers boss Mark Warburton in London.

Kelly enjoyed success in two separate spells with the Lions, earning a League One winners' medal two seasons ago while on loan before completing a permanent switch from Rangers last summer.

The stopper received two Scotland call-ups during his second stint in West Lothian and earned plaudits for a string of fine displays as Livi ensured their Premiership safety with six games remaining.

A statement from Livingston said: "Livingston FC can confirm that Liam Kelly has today joined QPR on a 4-year-deal for an undisclosed fee. The club would like to wish Liam all the very best in the English Championship and thank him for all his efforts in his two seasons with us."
