Livingston Designer Outlet crash: Cyclist rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries

Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a horrific two-vehicle collision in West Lothian.

The incident occurred around 7.45pm on Friday, 7 August, 2020 on Almondvale Avenue in Livingston.

A 21-year-old male cyclist has been rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after being hit by a bus near Livingston Designer Outlet.

The young cyclist is currently being treated for serious injuries caused by the collision.

Sergeant Stephen Quinn of the Livingston Road Policing Unit said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision and who has not spoken to officers to come forward.
