Livingston defender Nicky Devlin admits he's 'delighted' the club picked up the option to extend his contract for next season.
The former Ayr United and Walsall full-back has been a star performer for the Lions this term coming off an injury-hit first season in West Lothian that saw him limited to just 16 appearances.
He said: "I'm delighted. I had a bad injury last year so this is really my first season in the Premiership for a full season. To play as much as I have, coming off the injury, I'm delighted. because I wasn't really sure how it was going to go.
"We're looking forward to next season. We lose big players every season and we replace them and keep everything moving. We're on course for the third or fourth best season in the club's history so it's been a good season."
The Lions will finish in the top six for the second consecutive season, but their disappointing recent form continued against Hibs on Wednesday night.
Devlin knows the slow start at Easter Road can't be replicated, but believes they reacted well after falling two goals behind.
He commented: "The most frustrating thing is the first half. To put it bluntly, we were miles off it all over the park. We couldn't get near then and we were chasing shadows.
"We know if we turn up and a few of us are off it, then teams will beat us in this league. We can't afford to have three or four boys off it, let alone 11.
"In the second half, we played the game in their half. We've got to learn from it and we know the first half shouldn't happen. The positive is that we did react. A couple of weeks ago at Celtic we just went under and conceded six and I think the way we started, it could easily have happened again but we reacted well."
