Livingston boss Gary Holt hints at changes ahead of club's home SPFL Premiership clash with Ross County

Gary Holt says he’s already fed up with playing well and having nothing to show for their efforts – and has hinted that there could be changes ahead of Saturday’s home clash with Ross County.

The Lions sit bottom of the league with two points from their opening five games and while the gaffer believes the performances have been far from poor, he says things need to change.

Speaking to the West Lothian Courier, he said: “It was a very good performance for large spells against Aberdeen but I’ve said to the lads that there’s nothing worse than being labelled as a very good side but losing games.

“Yes, we have to identify that we’ve played well and we’ve played Rangers, Motherwell and Aberdeen who all finished in the top four last season, which is a tough run of games but it’s not an excuse.

“We want to win games and improve and that’s what we need to do.

“The performances have been good, but we’ve not had a win so that opens a door as well because we can’t just keep banging the same drum.

“We’ll have a look at things and assess it all and then be ready for a good battle come Saturday.”
