Living Zara: Zara fans will love the fashion brand's new Instagram account

Love fashion? Chances are you basically live in high street store Zara. Or, at least, that's what your bank account suggests most months.

For mega fans of the brand, the Spanish retailer has launched a new Instagram account, aptly called @LivingZara.

"The Living Zara Instagram account is a collaborative project between Zara and a handful of carefully chosen individuals who may be seen as interesting or inspiring within the industries that they operate," Zara told Standard.

The account will see different individuals with backgrounds in fashion, art, architecture and music take over the account each week.

"Week by week the collaboration will see an individual or group of people take over the Instagram account where they will create their own content and share posts featuring the key items of their choice that will be available to shop directly from Instagram," say Zara.

For its debut, Zara enlisted the help of three street style darlings. Influencer twins Reese (@double3xposure) and Molly Blustein (@accidentalinfluencer) as well as Courtney Trop (@alwaysjudging) have become a recognisable trio on the fashion week scene, serving up inspiration on how to style the latest trends, as well as boasting a combined Instagram following of well over half a million.

For week one of the new Instagram account, the group is seen styling several of summer 2019's hottest trendsthink satin slip skirts, tie-dye and micro bagsand doling out fashion advice. "My inseparable garment for this summer is the acid wash skirt," says Courtney Trop.

Thanks to the ever-evolving Instagram shopping feature, to buy an item you can simply tap the screen to bring up the item's name and price. If you proceed to click the tag it will take you straight through to the item's page on Zara's website. Alternatively, there is a new Living Zara section now on the Zara site under the retailer's 'Cornershops' tab.

Looks like the bank account is going to be in an even worse state next month...
