Over the last decade, there has been an exodus of China’s working population from the countryside to the cities. An increasingly affluent and mobile urban middle-class has led to a resurgence of interest in the country’s idyllic rural spots. But some Chinese artists, who’ve moved to the countryside, feel that they’re seeing a sanitised version of the countryside and want to show the reality of rural life in China.
We’d like you to show us what what life is like in rural China. Share your photos, videos and experiences by clicking on the blue ‘Contribute’ buttons.
