'Living in fear!' - Leeds United fans react as West Brom beat Sheffield Wednesday

Leeds United fans have been reacting to West Brom's win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Even with the Whites not in action on Wednesday night, they still had a vested interest in events at Hillsborough especially after dropping points at home to Luton Town 24 hours earlier.

The Baggies had gone into the game four points behind United at the top of the Championship table following their 1-0 loss at the hands of Brentford last Friday.

Immediately after the game at Griffin Park, Slaven Bilic challenged his side to start winning again after failing to score in both matches following the restart.

"We have to start winning games," he told Sky Sports.

"We were talking before the game about a lack of sharpness but we had a problem with normal passing.

"We were too nervous.

"The technical level of the passes, we have done so many technical mistakes that we don’t normally do.

"The size of the game was too big for us and we did not cope well enough with this situation."

And Bilic got the response he wanted against the Owls.

A brace from Matheus Pereira and a Charlie Austin penalty sealed a comfortable win for the visitors - a result which prompted a big response from some Leeds United fans.

Take a look at what has been said about the result on Twitter as there are some worrying concerns about the promotion race...

Marcelo Bielsa's side have the chance to respond to the result when they face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.

As things stand, the Whites remain in control of their own destiny.

But with the Baggies back to winning ways and Brentford on a brilliant run of form, there's little margin for error with six games of the 2019/20 Championship season remaining.
