No pressure matches that of a wedding day, as bride and grooms often spend months if not years intricately planning every last detail in the hope that everything will run smoothly.
Unfortunately, friends or family members can often throw a spanner in the works when they don't follow the rules set by loved-up couples who are desperate to achieve their dream day.
Rebellious guests can cause serious cracks in relationships as the perfect day can turn into a bride's worst nightmare with a blink of an eye - or a clink of a champagne glass.
One bride-to-be has revealed how a petty spat ensued with her mother-in-law after she point blank refused to follow the dress code for her son's wedding.

The decision forced the woman to take drastic measures to salvage her wedding photos, much to the disgust of her new relative.
Taking to Reddit to express her woes, the anonymous bride was desperate for an 'aesthetically pleasing' wedding but things took a dramatic turn when her mother-in-law went rouge.
The bride to be began her t reacherous tale by admitting that she had agonised over the wedding planning.
She said: "I am very detail oriented and planned my/our wedding with my husband very meticulously.
"Everything was color [sic] coordinated and everything was aesthetically pleasing. Our colors [sic] were pink and black".
Rather than setting a strict dress code for every guest, the bride explained that she wanted her close relatives to wear the same colours in order to maintain a theme in the wedding photos.
"I wanted parents and grandparents to also wear our wedding colors [sic] so the wedding photos would be cohesive," the bride wrote.
"I specifically spoke with each person and told them the color [sic] scheme and how I would very much like everyone to color [sic] coordinate. Nobody had an issue with this, so I thought".

She soon realised that one family member had 'lied' about following the dress code in a last minute revelation that nearly ruined the wedding.
Praising other loved ones for following the itinerary, the anonymous bride said: "Both sets husbands grandparents went out shopping to find clothes to explicitly match our wedding party.
"I thought that was so cute and appreciated it immensely. My mom [sic] and I went shopping for my grandparents, because they asked us to. So they were also matching.
The woman continued: "The night of the rehearsal, my mom asks my MIL [mother in law] what she is wearing and she responds with a long dress in the wedding colors [sic]."
Despite everything seeming to run smoothly, the bride was seething when she realised that her mother-in-law had betrayed her wishes on the morning of her special day.
She explained: "I am getting ready in the bridal suite And my MIL moseys on up and is wearing a royal purple ball gown. She doesn’t wear makeup that often, and I was shocked to see she was wearing neon blue eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick.
"Her husband wore a matching tie. I was livid, but ignored it because I didn’t want it to ruin my big day".

When her father-in-law asked how he looked in the wedding photos, the disgruntled bride fired back by telling him that him and her mother-in-law "stick out like big sore purple thumbs".
Dumbfounded by the response, the father-in-law asked "what that was supposed to mean" and the bride told him that they knew the dress code.
The argument reached boiling point when the groom's mother confronted the disappointed bride: "My mother in law approached me later in the night and asked me my issue. I asked her why she lied about her outfit choice.
"She said she never bought a dress that would go with our wedding colors [sic] and planned on wearing the purple dress she found.
After the mother-in-law revealed that her dress choice was "more true to her and that's what mattered" the furious bride decided to take matters into her own hands by vowing to edit the wedding photos to further enforce her dress code.
"I said that’s fine, I’ll fix the pictures in post production. She [the mother in law] said I would not adjust anything, they paid for the pictures and I would not alter anything."
"I said any picture I post with her in it will be altered on my end, so they have no control of what I do. I excused myself and enjoyed the rest of my wedding," the anonymous bride wrote.
After ranting about how her new family member has tendency to 'make things about her' with snide comments, the frustrated bride claimed that the mother-in-law hadn't forked out as much money as her own parents had for the big day.

"My parents paid for 70% of the wedding my in laws paid for the photographer and the rehearsal dinner," she said.
Reddit users flocked to the comments to defend the upset bride, with many sharing their own similar experiences.
One said: "I asked my MIL to wear our wedding colors [sic] (all green shades and pink and gold).
"I actually said anything but navy because all she wears is navy and has tried to dictate everything in my life with her love for navy... low and behold she still bought a navy dress."
Another argued: "She [the bride] was clear about what she wanted, everyone told her they were on board, and then MIL told a bold-faced lie. good [sic] for the bride for setting her boundaries and stating them clearly. With in-laws like that it’s important to set those lines and precedence".
Other commenters felt the groom's opinions had been overlooked during the whole ordeal, with one saying: "The main problem I have with this, is that she doesn't mention at all what her new husband, the woman's son, has to say about any of this.
"Did he endorse the wedding dress code? Did he tell his mother ahead of time to wear the colours or confront her after about not wearing the right colours?".
Another added: "Who cares if they are wearing purple and not pink? It doesn't "ruin" the pictures; it just makes them look like they looked on the day of.
"Weddings aren't photoshoots; the pictures are supposed to be to capture what the day looked like".
