Livi Rugby Club preparing to get back playing again

Livingston Rugby Club have thanked the Scottish Rugby Union for supporting them through lockdown.

The Almond Park side were one of a number of clubs across the country to benefit from the SRU’s Hardship Fund and President Lee Anne Steel says they will continue to work with the game’s governing body as they look to take steps back into playing.

She said: “As a community club run by volunteers our primary focus has been keeping our families safe. It was hard to close the doors at the club but absolutely the right thing to do.

“We are really proud of the way everyone has stuck by the rules and it means we are now in a position to start back up gently.
