However, the Reds will still be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Xherdan Shaqiri, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.
A busy festive Premier League schedule will come to an end when the leaders host Chris Wilder’s side at Anfield.
Asked if his squad has any new fitness concerns going into that game, Klopp replied: “All in a good way, but from the longer-term injuries nobody is back.
“They are doing more pitch sessions, running, stuff like that. Ox looks good, Joel looks good, Fabinho looks good, Lovren looks good, but not ready. They still need some time, as we said before.
“It will be the same group as last time (against Wolves).”
With a relatively generous four-day break between games and an opportunity to rest players in the FA Cup approaching, Klopp may look to keep a similar starting XI against the Blades.
If the German is to make one alteration, it would likely see Naby Keita return to the line-up in place of Adam Lallana.
