Liverpool boss Arne Slot has made five changes for this afternoon’s clash against Nottingham Forest, bringing both Alisson and Alexander Isak back into his starting line-up.
The reigning Premier League champions welcome Forest to Anfield hoping to bounce back from defeat to Manchester City before the international break.

However, Slot was forced into making at least two changes to the side that started at the Etihad Stadium.
One of those is at right-back as Conor Bradley picked up a muscle issue while on international duty with Northern Ireland and is now set to be out of action for at least three weeks. Slot revealed during the week that Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai and Joe Gomez were all options to replace Bradley given Jeremie Frimpong is also currently side-lined, and both Jones and Szoboszlai have been named in the Dutchman’s XI.
Jones played on the right side of defence last season but Szoboszlai - who is walking the suspension tightrope due to his yellow card tally - has deputised there in the current campaign and appears likeliest to do so today, giving the Reds a flatter midfield three with Jones alongisde Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister.

The other enforced change sees Florian Wirtz drop out of the starting line-up through injury, with the Germany international replaced by Cody Gakpo on the left-hand side of the attack.
Elsewhere, first-choice goalkeeper Alisson is recalled after missing the last seven games with a hamstring injury, with Isak and Milos Kerkez given the nod over Hugo Ekitike and Andy Robertson, respectively.
