Liverpool XI vs Everton: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and latest injuries for FA Cup clash

Jurgen Klopp is set to hand Takumi Minamino his Liverpool debut as he rings the changes for an FA Cup third-round clash with Everton.

Minamino officially joined the Reds from RB Salzburg on 1 January but could not be registered in time to take on Sheffield United at Anfield a day later and so will make his bow against the Toffees on Sunday instead.

Thursday's 2-0 win over the Blades marked the end of a packed festive fixture list that saw Klopp rely on a shrinking core of players due to a number of injury issues, a fact that is likely to prompt significant rotation for this fixture.

Adrian is guaranteed a start in goal, while Nathaniel Phillips - recently recalled from a loan stint with Stuttgart - is expected to make his first-team debut in an unfamiliar starting XI that will boost Everton's hopes of a first Anfield win since 1999.
