Liverpool XI vs Arsenal: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup, latest injuries for Premier League game

Jurgen Klopp expects to have an unchanged squad at his disposal when Liverpool travel to Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

The Reds’ last outing saw them held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley at Anfield and, according to the manager, no fresh injury concerns have arisen since.

Speaking at a press conference to preview the trip to Arsenal, he said: “My last information is from yesterday because today I didn't speak to anybody because we have training later.

“No new injuries on the list, so we should have the same squad like we had for the Burnley game.”

Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip had already been ruled out for the remainder of the season prior to that meeting with the Clarets.

That made James Milner the only new absentee, the midfielder missing out as a result of muscle tightness.

And, while Klopp doesn’t anticipate restoring Milner to his squad for the visit to the Emirates Stadium, he is hoping he will be back in time to face Chelsea next week.

The German added: “Millie is in contention, or is pretty safe for the Chelsea game; nobody told me yet he will be available for tomorrow – and he didn’t train yesterday, so that’s not a good sign then.

“But it will be fine for Chelsea, I am pretty sure.”

Klopp handed rare starting opportunities to youngsters Curtis Jones and Neco Williams last time out.

However, with his team having been afforded a longer gap between that game and this, the Reds boss is expected to return to a more recognisable line-up.
