Liverpool winger and Bristol City flop open to Leeds United move despite Rangers and Aston Villa interest

Ryan Kent is open to a summer move to Leeds United.

Leeds Live report that the 22-year-old is keeping his options open as he currently remains in the dark over Liverpool's future plans for him.

The winger flopped on loan at Bristol City in the second half of the 2017/18 season but successfully turned his form around last year at Rangers.

Kent's form at Ibrox was a far cry from how he performed at the Robins, when Liverpool were forced to fine City for not playing him enough.

The Gers are keen to take Kent back but face big competition for his signature.

Leeds are said to have held talks with Kent's representatives on more than one occasion over a potential move to Elland Road, but newly-promoted Aston Villa have also been linked with a move.

It could well see Rangers priced out of any potential plans to take him back to Ibrox.

Yet Kent's future could well hinge on what plans Liverpool have for him, with Jurgen Klopp said to be keen to see what the former Bristol City man can do in pre-season.

He has three years left on his Anfield contract so another loan move seems most likely, but the Reds may well consider a permanent exit for the player should they be offered a good deal.
