Liverpool willing to let Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher go out on loan

Liverpool are willing to let Republic of Ireland youngster Caoimhin Kelleher leave the club on loan in the January transfer window.

The Liverpool ECHO reports that any green light on a loan move away from Anfield for the goalkeeper will centre around a guarantee of playing time.

Kelleher is currently vying for game-time alongside Alisson Becker and Adrian at Anfield but made his senior debut in Milton Keynes earlier this year.

The Cork native also played against Arsenal and could feature when the Reds travel to Villa Park for their Carabao Cup quarter-final next month.

A large Academy contingent is expected in the Midlands with the senior side playing in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final less than 24 hours later.

Kelleher is likely to be named in goal for the game at Villa but the Reds are open to loan proposals when the transfer window opens at the beginning of January.
