Where?

Sport Italia journalist Gianluigi Longari.

What?

According to the report, Chelsea have joined Liverpool in the race to sign the Brazil international.

Liverpool scouts have been impressed with Raphinha, but a move in January is not thought to be likely.

The report from Italy goes on to say that Chelsea are working on a deal that would see the 24-year-old swap Elland Road for Stamford Bridge next summer.

Bayern Munich have been linked with Raphinha in recent days, too, while Liverpool were initially credited with an interest last summer.

Who?

Luis Diaz, Porto winger.

Where?
Journalist Pipe Sierra.

What?

According to the report, Liverpool are ‘very interested’ in signing Diaz, with Jurgen Klopp keen to bring the player to Anfield ‘as soon as possible’.

However, the report adds that Porto are not willing to negotiate a deal for the Colombia international in the New Year.

This would mean that were Liverpool to show an interest in signing Diaz, they would need to pay €80m (£67m) for his release clause.

It has also been claimed that, were Liverpool to wait until the summer, they may be able to negotiate a fee in the region of €50m (£42m) and €60m (£50m) for the 24-year-old.

What?

According to the report, Liverpool have emerged as a possible option for Valverde next summer.

It has been claimed that the Uruguay international has fallen out of favour with Real manager Carlo Ancelotti, and could seek a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

This is where Liverpool come in, with the report claiming that the Reds are very interested in signing Valverde at the end of the season.

The report also states that a move to Liverpool for the 23-year-old is ‘logical’ and could happen if he decides to leave Real.
