Liverpool will earn money than Man City this Premier League season - regardless of title outcome

Liverpool's Premier League prize money will exceed Manchester City's this season - regardless of the outcome of Sunday's title showdown.

The Reds' popularity with broadcasters means their income for the campaign will shade their title rivals, marking them out as the highest-earning club in England for TV money.

Jurgen Klopp 's side have been shown on either BT Sport or Sky Sports a total of 29 times this term, which is three more than Pep Guardiola's champions.

Each top-flight club is given an equal share of £79.4m with Liverpool taking home a predicted £33.5m to City's £30.1m, according to a report from the Mail On Sunday .
