The team behind House of Fraser has revealed that it will open a brand new store Frasers in Liverpool next year.
The news come after Mike Ashley, owned of Sports Direct, pledged to invests millions of pounds into House of Fraser in a bid to take on John Lewis.
It is thought that 31 new Frasers stores will open across the country in the next five years, with the first new store opening in Liverpool in 2020.
A new designer store will stock high-end designer brands such as Gucci and Paul Smith.
While full details have not been released by the House of Fraser brand, a spokesperson told the ECHO: "We’ll be opening our first Frasers store in the heart of Liverpool in 2020."
It is thought that Mike Ashely will base the Frasers store model on his fashion chain Flannels.
