Today is starting off wet and windy which is the story for the week to come.
Sunday will see patchy showers in the morning with it clearing early afternoon. Whilst the showers may stop for a couple of hours, the wind will pick up heading through the afternoon as some sunny spells appear late afternoon.
As we head into the night the weather will turn wet and blustery as rain pushes southwards. Temperatures won't drop as low as they have been in the recent nights with Liverpool and the rest of Merseyside remaining frost-free.

The maximum temperature is expected to be 10C and the minimum temperature overnight will be 4C. Despite the milder temperatures, it will only feel as though it is 4 or 5C throughout the day as North Westerly wind sweeps across the region.
As we head into next week temperatures will stay around the same, although it is looking to be an unsettled couple of days. Monday will remain cloudy and damp as well the wind remaining throughout the day.
The temperature may increase ever so slightly to 11C but it will again only feel around 6 or 7C. This looks to be the case for Tuesday and Wednesday as well, with Thursday possibly becoming drier and less windy.
