Liverpool weather: temperatures set to rise as rain eases

The last week has been plagued with showers but all is expected to change as we continue into July.

Today will start a new weather trend, of it being mostly dry, with the odd shower expected. The Met Office reports that Merseyside will experience mostly sunny spells, with the risk of few showers.

As the rain continues to ease throughout the week, the temperatures will rise, with it expected to hit above 20C into next week. But for now, the maximum temperature will be 18C.
