Merseyside is set for a warm end to the working week this Friday, as temperatures are set to sit comfortably in the mid tens peaking at 16C in the afternoon.
The Met Office has noted that the best of the sunshine and the warmest temperatures will be in the southeast of the region.
Happily the warmer weather won't bring a heightened pollen count, so readers affected with hay fever can rest easy over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Liverpool should make the most of the nice weather if they are able to though, as forecasts for the weekend hint that while it will be dry and bright over Saturday, the Sunday is set to turn grey with a lot more cloud and wind.
Longer spells of showers and rain should also be expected as the Bank Holiday greets Merseyside interspersing the city with patches of sunshine alongside the wet weather.
