People across Merseyside are in for a mild Bank Holiday weekend as highs of 16C are predicted.
According to the Met Office, high pressure is set to remain in place over the next few days bringing with it more sunny and dry weather. The temperature is set to drop in the evenings though, with cooler nights expected.
Today on Thursday, April 28, a chilly morning is set to clear, leading to plenty of sunshine on the forecast. Clouds may appear into the afternoon, however it will feel pleasant in the sunshine with highs of 14C.

Into the evening clouds will clear, leading to starry skies for most. Freezing temperatures of -2C will set in with frost across countryside areas. This means there's set to be another chilly morning on Friday but there will be plenty of sunny spells throughout the day.
Perhaps a few showers developing in the north later on, the Met Office says. But it will feel warmer again, with a maximum temperature 16C.
Looking towards the Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday will be a dry day with plenty of sunshine. Some showers may arrive on Saturday night into Sunday morning, however it will become brighter once more for Bank Holiday Monday.
BBC forecaster Susan Powell said: "We have been talking a lot about dry weather in recent weeks, bear with us as we are likely to be talking about it for another week yet. Certainly a lot of dry weather in our forecast as we look at the remainder of April.
"A deficit for all parts of the UK in terms of rainfall this April and particularly dry across southern counties of England, around 70% down here. With high pressure still dominating the weather through to the end of the month until Saturday, more dry weather to come."
