Liverpool is set for a scorching weekend of weather as temperatures soar and bright sunshine will dominate the skies.
Merseyside has been enjoying some glorious weather with temperatures staying in the low twenties all week.
There has been some cloud alongside the warmth, but Saturday and Sunday are set to see sunshine break through, with Sunday being a particularly beautiful day.
The Met Office forecast for the North West said: "Saturday will remain dry with patchy cloud and sunny spells. Cloud will become increasingly broken through the afternoon, with sunshine becoming more frequent. Gentle to moderate winds.
"High pressure will continue to bring dry, warm and settled conditions for the start of next week.
" Sunday will be dry and sunny with just the odd patch of cloud around.
"On Monday, it will be another largely sunny and dry day, but there may be a few outbreaks of light rain in the morning.
"Tuesday looks to be dry and sunny again, but there is a chance of cloud and rain arriving."
