Liverpool weather forecast: Unsettled but better for bank holiday

The sizzling weather we enjoyed over the Easter break now seems a distant memory as the weather continues its unsettled pattern.

This morning will be rather grey and cloudy with occasional rain and drizzle. The rain will become more showery during the afternoon, with a few brighter spells, before clearing later.

The Met Office forecast is for maximum temperatures of around 14C.

The outlook for the rest of the week is for showers on Thursday followed by colder weather on Friday with early frost, sunny spells and occasional showers.

The best outlook is for Saturday, which is due to be mainly dry and bright.

The good news is that for the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend a pattern of generally dry weather is likely to develop, with a fair amount of sunshine across most parts.
