The Met Office are warning of thunder and showers amid brighter weather today.
Yes we are in for sunshine but scattered showers are also on the cards for Liverpool across
Merseyside today.
And that could include thunder.
The weather experts say: "After a cool and bright start, the cloud will soon bubble up to give a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers during the day.
"The showers will be heavy and possibly thundery in places."
And the Met Office say we could see a maximum temperature of 18°C in Liverpool
Tonight
Daytime showers will soon fade this evening to leave a dry night, with clear spells.
It will turn chilly under the clearest skies, especially in some rural spots. Light winds.
Minimum temperature 4 °C.
And on Friday "rain and increasing winds" are forecast.
