The Met Office are warning that thundery showers could be with us by tomorrow.
The weather experts say Liverpool is facing thunder tomorrow and at the weekend - but we haven't seen the last of the sunshine.
Today the Met Office say it will be a fine start "with spells of hazy sunshine through the morning".
They add: "Cloud will continue to thicken though, with sporadic outbreaks of rain arriving early afternoon. Despite this it will feel warm."
Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Further showery outbreaks of rain are forecast for tonight.
Thunder
And the Met Office say although there should be sunny spells on Thursday "showers will develop in the north with some heavy and possibly thundery downpours."
Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Weather forecasters say it will be "unsettled on Friday" with stronger winds and outbreaks of heavy rain possible.
The Met Office add: "This clears to sunshine and heavy, thundery showers on Saturday, but most will be dry again by Sunday."
