Liverpool weather forecast: Sunshine set to stick around for the weekend

The glorious sunshine is expected to stretch into the weekend.

And according to the Met Office today will see a "largely sunny start"  in Liverpool and although it could get cloudy it should stay dry.

And with only light winds it will feel warm. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

The weather experts are also forecasting the sunny spells will still be amking an appearance on Saturday and Sunday.

As for tonight the Met Office say it will be "staying dry with the daytime cloud dissipating to leave long clear spells" and add that "under clear skies with light winds it will turn chilly with patchy fog forming by dawn."

Minimum temperature 6 °C.

On Thursday we could see temperatures as high as 21°C with another dry day expected save for the chance of "one or two spots of light rain".

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Here's what the Met Office say:

Patchy rain early Friday then warm sunny spells.

Cooler on Saturday with bright or sunny spells after early rain clears.

Fairly cloudy Sunday, but with sunny spells and scattered showers.
