The Met Office says sunshine will follow a rainy start today amid an expected heatwave this week.
The weather experts say Liverpool will be home to a cloudy start and possibly outbreaks of rain.
But bright and sunny spells are expected to replace the rain with a breeze too.
Maximum temperature 25 °C.
Tonight the Met Office say it will turn cloudy and possible misty and foggy.
And we are in for a minimum temperature of 16 °C so it is shaping up to be a hot night.
The weather forecasters say on Tuesday: "A cloudy start, but cloud gradually melting away to leave a dry and sunny day. Feeling hot in the strong sunshine."
The Met Office has predicted that the mercury will rise to a whopping 31°C on Tuesday.
According to the forecaster the hot weather is being caused by a 400-mile-wide African plume of hot air which is making temperatures soar.
