Liverpool weather forecast: Sunny spells amid May Bank Holiday warning

Liverpool is set for more sunny spells today amid a Bank Holiday warning for Merseyside .

Experts at the Met Office say after any early fog patches have cleared, warm sunny spells will develop during the morning.

It will tend to cloud over during the afternoon but probably stay dry. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

After a mostly dry evening, cloud and patchy rain will gradually spread inland from the coast along with some low cloud. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

But tomorrow morning is likely to be a gloomy one with the Met Office forecasting "rather grey and cloudy" conditions with occasional rain and drizzle.

The rain will become more showery in nature during the afternoon, before clearing later. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

And for those dreaming of another sizzling Bank Holiday weekend be warned that the Met Office predict "colder air will bring some overnight frosts this Bank Holiday weekend".

However it's not all bad news as they are forecasting plenty of dry weather and sunny spells too.
