Liverpool weather forecast sees dry and bright weekend ahead

Liverpool is set to see some dry and bright weather this weekend, with not a drop of rain in sight.

This week has seen mostly settled weather in Merseyside and that is to continue into the weekend.

Temperatures are will be on the mild side, with highs of 11 degrees predicted over Saturday and Sunday.

While it will remain overcast for both days there shouldn't be any rain, making perfect weather for lockdown walks and trips to the park with your bubble.

Next week sees the settled and dry weather continue, with any rainfall currently predicted to be minimal.

The Met Office forecast for the entire North West said: "Friday night will see widespread cloud persist, but it is expected to remain dry throughout. Light and variable winds.

"Tomorrow will be a largely dry day, with extensive cloud but also bright spells at times when the cloud becomes more broken.

"Just the chance of some drizzle early in the day. Gentle westerly breezes.

"A dry day on Sunday, with a mixture of patchy cloud and bright spells. The odd shower may develop in places.

"Monday will continue similarly with variable cloud and spells of hazy sunshine, although there will be a chance of a few showers.

"Tuesday will turn increasingly breezy and cloudy with a chance of some rain through the evening."
