Liverpool is set for another wet and miserable but thankfully it is not all bad news.
According to the Met Office , people in the city will be faced with more showers on their commute today with heavy rain and dark clouds forecast until 9am.
From then, the rain will continue but it will be much lighter before eventually stopping shortly before midday.
The rest of the day will remain cloudy and chilly but there will be no more rain until Saturday morning.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Persistent rain will clear during the morning to leave a mixture of bright spells and showers, perhaps heavy at times.
"Coastal areas become largely dry in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 17 °C."
Heading into the weekend however, people can expect a mixed bag of weather.
A forecaster said: "Staying unsettled this weekend and on Monday, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers, some heavy in places.
"Feeling warmer than of late."
