Today Merseyside is set to see the last of the true summer weather, with highs of 23C predicted.
This morning, The Met Office has released storm names for the new season, with unsettled weather on the forecast. Many forecasters believe that we've seen the last of the warm and dry weather, with rain coming over the next couple of days.
On Thursday, September 1, it will remain primarily dry with highs in the 20Cs. But that's all set to change as the weather becomes unsettled for the weekend.

It's likely the weather will stay that way for the foreseeable. Despite being largely dry and bright, with sunny spells at times, there will be showers in the forecast from Friday onwards.
Some rain showers will be heavy and there will be light winds. However this will become increasingly heavy as bands of rain slowly move across the region. There may be possible surface water flooding in some places.
Forecasters at the Met Office believe this will mark the beginning of a longer phase of stormy weather, with a long range forecast from Monday 5 September to Wednesday 14 September reading: "The start of this period is expected to bring areas of thick cloud and heavy, thundery rain or showers to many places.
"Any periods of rain could be longer than recently experienced.
"Some brighter spells are also possible. Strong winds are also likely in places, perhaps with a risk of gales. Temperatures are expected to be around average but variable, especially under longer spells of rain where it may be cooler, or in any sunshine which will feel warmer. "
No weather warnings are currently in place in the UK.
