A day of sunshine is in store say weather experts but the rain is refusing to go away altogether.
According to the Met Office it will be dry and increasingly warm and "there will be long sunny spells everywhere."
Maximum temperature 20 °C.
But the rain is hanging around Liverpool sadly.
The Met Office say after a sunny evening "the region will tend to cloud over and some rain is likely, perhaps including heavy bursts" in parts of the North West.
Minimum temperature 9 °C.
But Wednesday is shaping up to be a belter.
The weather forecasters say: "Any early rain will soon clear leaving warm sunshine for the rest of the day.
"One or two heavy showers are possible later but most people will avoid these. Maximum temperature 19 °C."
And more sunshine is forecast for the weekend. Hip-hip-hip hooray.
