Liverpool weather forecast: Four days of sunshine on the cards

Merseyside is in for a mixed couple of days with bouts of both rain and sunshine.

According to the Met Office Monday should see a "cloudy start with some outbreaks of patchy light rain and drizzle at times."

But things should improve on the Liverpool weather front.

The weather experts say cloud and rain will fragment as it moves southeast during the afternoon, with sunny spells and a few scattered showers.

A cool and breezy day.

Maximum temperature 18 °C.

It comes after the recent heatwave and we haven't seen the last of the sunshine.

Any showers dying away to leave a dry night, with clear skies.

Some fog patches are possible. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

But on Tuesday after "a chilly start" the Met Office say it will be "largely dry with sunny spells throughout the day."

An isolated shower is possible.

Feeling pleasantly warm in the sunshine, with lighter winds. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Sunny spells are also forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.
