Merseyside may be in for a dry start but sadly it is not expected to last.
According to the Met Office many places will start the day bright but chilly.
However, cloud will spread bringing some showery rain this afternoon, this mainly in the south. Feeling rather cool.

Tonight
A largely cloudy night with further outbreaks of rain, heaviest and most persistent across southern parts.
Some clearer breaks further north mean it could turn locally chilly here. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
And the rain is set to persist on Tuesday on Merseyside according to the Met Office .
The weather experts say: "Cloudy throughout with rain persisting for much of the day. Heavier bursts are likely, particularly through the morning. Windy and feeling rather cold."
